We had independent work on Newsela to complete. The article today was about how footwear can have harmful effects on the environment. This article was shocking, because I never knew shoes could harm the environment until I read about it in this article. I will definitely keep this in mind now as I buy new shoes.

Had a CommonLit assignment to complete . The story called ‘What makes good people do bad things?’ was the independent work. The story had questions and a written response. It had a lot of evidence from real incidents and was overall very interesting.

We had a Commonlit assignment on a story called “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge”. We read the story and answered questions about it.  I started my spring break by going to a track meet at Morehouse College and spent the night out with some friends. We then went to Panama City Beach/Seaside together. There was a lot of people from Lakeside there, and it was a lot of fun. There was some drama though. Overall, the best spring break I’ve had in a while, and it was a lot of fun being away from my parents for such a “long time”.

In class we worked on creating narrative outlines that coincided with a certain prompt. There was a lot of interesting prompts to choose from. The prompt I chose was cool to write since I made up my own idea of a climax. For my 2nd prompt I will plan to do something else correlating with the story.

Today in class we continued the assignment we worked on yesterday. I answered to questions about the 6-7 paragraph during our short period class.

Today we went over how much the EOCT and the impact it could have on our grades . We then began an assignment on narrative writing and introducing new topics.  I worked on the narratives while reading the story as well. I finished two narratives.
