Reflection (10/30)

We analyzed and annotated a poem by Lawrence Ferlinghetti called “Constantly Risking Absurdity”. Throughout, he uses an extended metaphor, in which he's comparing a poet to an acrobat, an extended metaphor is the use of a single metaphor or analogy at length in a work of literature. We found the theme to be, ‘Being a creative is not as easy as it may seem.’
