Reflection #1

 In today’s class we annotated an article about the dress code that’s being enforced in a Texan school district.  We were told to highlight/underline important parts, circle unknown words, and ask questions about the text. On the back we were told to predict what we thought the article would be about based on it’s title. When we got back from lunch, we were each given a question to answer using the text. This lesson taught how to breakdown confusing texts and organize thoughts you may have about them.

 Today, Mr. Rease had a substitute, the sub had a very thick accent and it was hard understanding who's name he was attempting at pronouncing in during roll call.  Today we continued working on the American Lit Benchmark. Finished/got close to finishing our essay question, and were told Mr. Rease wont be at school Thursday, so we’ll have a substitute.
