Reflection (10/10)

In today’s class we went over claims & evidence about unknown things. We also spent time learning about how we can make our own claims along with how we present evidence with them. Overall, a pretty “chill” lesson, but was a good refresher.

Write About A Time When You’d Dressed Inappropriately For The Occasion

A time I dressed "inappropriately" for the occasion was last week at the first session of an out of school extracurricular.  I wore a polo shirt and dress pants, because I thought the program had a more business casual feel to it. When I arrived I saw nothing but t-shirts and shorts even on some of the staff members. This made me feel like the odd one out in an already stressful environment. this feeling was soon resolved after doing an icebreaker.

Reflection (10/5)

We took a vocab quiz on the words we wrote down when Mr. Reese wasn’t there. Within wrote Dad some more definitions and finish some practice sentences using the words in context, as well as answering some questions using the words. These words were very easy to understand for me, and I see myself acing the next quiz.

Reflection (10/3)

Today we finished the driverless car claim assignment. There was a section to  write the definitions of some of the vocabulary words that were in the text and we had to spot every claim that was in the passages.

Reflection (10/2)

Today In class we wrote notes about claims and worked on a work sheet giving two contrasting arguments about self driving cars. The worksheet made us analyze the text to understand claims, whether the writer was for or against automated cars, and what write down what our previous knowledge was on the topic.
